Perseids Meteor Shower

For those interested in Astronomy type stuff, in case you didn't know the Perseids meteor shower has been going on this weekend. I think it peaks sometime tonight. It is supposed to be a fairly nice shower.

We went out to an observatory friday night and saw about 10 pretty nice ones in an hour. Probably would have seen more if we looked harder for the meteors.

Sorry to mention this so late, but tonight should be great for viewing the shower if you can get somewhere nice and dark.

Another Astronomy note - at the ISU Alumni Conference Beach Party last night the Moon and Venus were in rare form. And the frisbee and bonfire were cool too!
