I'd like to start a University of Minnesota Chapter

I have been looking to start a chapter of SEDS at the University of Minnesota.

I understand there used to be one here previously and that now is the time to start it up again.

Let me know what procedure is necessary to make it happen...

I have been informed that the Aerospace Engineering department would be willing to help as it is able....

Great to hear you're interested in starting a new chapter. We'd be happy to help you do so. I don't remember a chapter in Minnesota, but I'll have to take a look back and see what I can find.

If you haven't already, review the online Start Kit documentation at:

There's not much currently required to "make it official" other then letting us know your chapter details at http://www.seds.org/seds/forms/update-info.html

You may also want to consider getting involved in the national organization, as we're always in need of students to help with that. Also, let us know what resources you would like (website, an area on this forum, etc) that we can help you with.

I'll get back to ya...still interested, but need to raise a dedicated group of volunteers first....then all can begin...seeing as we're all too short on time to make anything happen individually....

Getting closer to inception of Minnesota Chapter....

This should be more than something just at the University level....(extensive outreach program at the k-12 level, mostly high school)....

how is the construction of the chapter going? It's always good to hear about new chapters. Keep us informed about it all. It will be good to add new chapters to the contact lists :)

We are going to have our first exploratory meeting in about 2 weeks. It should all move from there...
