Our founder (Peter Diamandis) has been busy! First the announcement yesterday with X-Prize, and now this announcement regarding Zero Gravity flights (http://www.spacedaily.com/news/tourism-02q.html) coming to the US.

Its interesting that they've filed a patent for the business model -- carrying cargo in the evenings with the modified zero-g plane, and then using it during the day for the Zero-G activities.

Does anyone have any more details on this patent covering a business model? Have business models been patented before? It didn't say a lot in the article about it, but it seems a bit strange and potentially detrimental to free enterprise. Why can someone patent this business model and not, for example, a business model in which food is prepared in a kitchen and brought to people at tables in another room?
