Next Sunday 1st October, 10:15AM GMT all SEDS members worldwide have the opportunity to join using Skype the Brainstorming Session that will take place on the 2006 edition of the SEDS International Conference which will take place on Valencia, Spain.

Just point your browser to the following link:
https://skypecasts.skype.com/skypecasts/skypecast/detailed.html?id_talk=39999

From 10:15AM GMT 1st October on the above URL you will find a link to join the discussion. You will need the lastest version of the Skype client to do it. Remember to mute your microphone while you are not talking, that will avoid unnecessary noises on the conference. Announce your name everytime you add something to the discussion.

Use this thread to add your ideas and opinions before, during or after the SEDSIC.

Will a transcript of the session be posted for those of us in the States who could not attend due to the time?

Also is there a trascript/summary of the SEDS International meeting in general?

We could probably write a summary once people get settled. Not sure what you mean about the time, though -- there were two from the US there.

10 AM GMT is 2 AM for me. There were also several different times advertised for the event, ex here on the forum you guys said 10:15 GMT, where as Kirk's e-mail to SGTALK said 9:00 GMT.

Was an e-mail advertising the event sent out to SEDS-USA / Exec board?

Hey Josh. An announcement was sent to the seds-announce list and the seds-earth list. Both of the times are correct--9:00GMT was the start time of the event in Valencia and 10:15GMT was the start of the interactive part of the event when people could use skype to talk to each other and participants on site.
