Recently, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign released a project called Cosmology@Home (http://www.cosmologyathome.org). Cosmology@Home is similar to SETI@Home (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu) -- both use BOINC software, which allows many personal computers around the world to share the load of complex problems. Cosmology@Home focuses on computing models that best describe the universe (more info (http://www.cosmologyathome.org/wandelt_letter.php)). SETI@Home focuses on analyzing data recovered from the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (more info (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/sah_about.php)).
There are SEDS teams for both projects. If you join the teams, your statistics will be included in the team statistics (SEDS SETI@Home stats (http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/team_display.php?teamid=32001) - SEDS Cosmology@Home stats (http://www.cosmologyathome.org/team_display.php?teamid=255))
