I have just joined. Back in the mid-late 80s, I was a member of the SEDS group at the University of Texas in Austin. I was able to do many things with this group, including going to NASA, and other things. We were all together to comfort one another when the Challenger tragedy happened.

I worked in UTexas Astronomy at the time.

So I am not a member any longer, in fact, on March 17 I am retiring from the University of Texas (age 62). I was wishing on Saturday that I knew where some of those old friends were - I missed being with people who knew the same passion I have about the space program.

If any of you are around, or anyone else I might have met at the time, please reply to this, or to my private email, c.stepp@mail.utexas.edu.

Let me know where you are, what you are doing, and how your life has changed since you graduated from UTexas. I miss being around my SEDS pals.

In the near future, SEDS will be implementing a new Alumni section to the webpage (along with completely re-vamping the entire webpage). So for any alumni out there, please keep an eye open for this. We are going to try to provide an alumni database and keep in better contact with our alumni and make sure that they can all keep intouch with each other.

If you are an alumni and have lost touch with some old SEDS friends please keep an eye out for the updated alumni section which will be coming around the end of January!
