The members and board of the National Space Society are saddened by the passing of Sir Arthur Clarke, a longtime member of the society's Board of Governors. Clarke's legacy will live on in the decades to come, as humanity continues the great adventure of space travel and exploration

SEDS USA will have a large number of events happening at ISDC 2008. Key among these will be the SEDS/Student sessions with keynote speakers.

The sessions will be open ONLY to SEDS members and interested students.

Currently we have Elon Musk and Anousheh Ansari signed up.

Be sure to stop by the SEDS booth for the exact time/location of these sessions.

Other SEDS events at ISDC 2008 include:
- SEDS USA live Council of Chapters
- SEDS USA Executive Board Meeting
- a large number of SEDS social gatherings
- SEDS field trip to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum (Sunday).
