SEDS International Conference 2008

Hello all. I wanted to get a thread started for SEDSIC 2008. (A sort of a placeholder for now 'cos I needed a link for something else :) ) SEDSIC is tentatively scheduled for 28 September with supporting workshops to be held prior.

It would be wonderful to hear about other people's experiences at the 2007 conference. It was a wonderful experience to finally associate a body with those email ids in my inbox :)

question: how do people manage to go to these conferences when they are students? I just added a course to my schedule that effectively eliminates the possibility of my being there, if it existed in the first place...
