Hello, my name is Elizabeth Howell and I am the Vice-President of the National Branch of SEDS-Canada. Many people have been asking if SEDS-Canada does still exist, and I want to reassure you that it does.
In mid-2002, the majority of our Board of Directors graduated from university and were ineligible to stay with SEDS. Since then, we have rebuilt SEDS-Canada and will make it a better organization than before.
We have a new Board of Directors, who are:

Marvin Araneta, Education Coordinator
Arestia Dehmassi, Assistant Education Coordinator
We're hard at work at completing a new web site. A temporary one is available at
http://canada.seds.org. Our improved web site should be ready by the fall.
We invite any SEDS-Canada chapter still active in Canada to contact us and write a chapter report for our magazine, YLEM. We plan to start the Multimedia Competition again this fall for middle and high school students.
