Recently, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign released a project called
Cosmology@Home. Cosmology@Home is similar to
SETI@Home -- both use BOINC software, which allows many personal computers around the world to share the load of complex problems. Cosmology@Home focuses on computing models that best describe the universe (
more info). SETI@Home focuses on analyzing data recovered from the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (
more info).
There are SEDS teams for both projects. If you join the teams, your statistics will be included in the team statistics (
