Welcome everyone! This is Keri Hancock, 09-10 Director of Educational Outreach for SEDS-USA.
If you are interested in educational outreach you are in the right place. Please introduce yourself. List your name, email address, AIM name, and anything else you'd like. Please also let me know if you'd like to be on the educational outreach listserv.

I'm also starting up a topic here for you to list your chapter's educational outreach projects, a topic just to shout out ideas, and a topic for where you think SEDS-USA should take educational outreach. Please visit those.

I'm starting off the introductions, and hopefully won't be the only one. :D

My name is Keri Hancock, you can reach me at outreach@seds.org or triantle@email.arizona.edu. My AIM is wemewaw27 and I'm on pretty frequently. I'm a member of University of Arizona SEDS in Tucson. I'm currently majoring in Biology (astronomy focused) but am trying to find a way to get back to an Education major. I think I'm somewhere around a sophomore or junior now. My career goals are to do educational and public outreach in the space industry to help bring about the next golden age of space.

I'm Adrian Lucy, reachable over Facebook, and by email at alpha [at] ou [dot] edu. My aim is adrianbecklucy ...I'm on to check for messages at least once a day, but otherwise not around aim much. I'm originally from Pennsylvania, and I'm the president and co-founder of OU SEDS, a chapter which started late September / early October this year. I'm tentatively a meteorology major and astronomy or physics minor, with career ambitions that vacillate from music to science to space PR to space law to SF/fantasy writing, depending on my mood. I'm something like a sophomore, but an ignorant freshman in the sciences and a junior in the course enrollment bureaucracy. I sing and used to play the French horn well. I've got a blog at http://asmallbirdinflames.blogspot.com/ that I haven't written in yet, but plan to. Let me know if you're interested in helping with the booklist project (see other section of EPU forum for Keri's summary and a link to the wiki-in-progress).

Hey everyone,

I am Jake Gamsky, a junior physics major at the University of Kentucky. I am the President, Founder, and chapter representative for U of K SEDS. My e-mail address is jngams2@uky.edu and my aim is shortstop4life30. I also have a facebook and twitter account where I can be reached at. My aspirations include living/working on the moon or mars, but who knows how that will go! I am currently brainstorming a project for elementary school kids called the "Space Bubble". My thoughts are still in progress so I will let you know. Thanks.

Hi, My name is Lindsey Stevens.
I'm a new freshman at Texas A&M and a new member of A&M's SEDS. I am passionate about aviation and space exploration, and I don't see the fascination going anywhere anytime soon. In high school I was involved with different events working with the local elementary schools and the local flight clubs, although never able to combine these two things that are important to me together. It is something I am so excited about getting a chance to do now. I can be reached best by facebook, or by email, coyote.l.stevens@gmail.com.
thanks and gig'em!

What type of project is it Jake? Would you be willing to write a little more about it in chapter projects or brainstorming? I know that you said that it is still a work in progress, but if you have a title it would seem that you have a direction that you are working in, and I'd like to see you elaborate at least a tiny bit more.

Good luck!
